Ronaldo sees the two-time champions as “big favorites” to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ronaldo predicts 2022 FIFA World Cup winner

Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario shared his prediction for the winner of the World Cup in Qatar.

The tournament advanced to the semi-final stage, with four teams remaining: France, Morocco, Argentina and Croatia.

La Albiceleste will play Croatia in the first semi-final tomorrow (December 13) and Le Blue the next day will meet with Morocco.

Brazil, considered by many as favorites to win the competition, were eliminated by Croatia on penalties in the quarter-finals.

Ronaldo has said he expects to see the final match between Brazil and France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However, now that his native side was eliminated, he predicted Le Blue to defend his title.

In an interview with ASThe two-time World Cup winner said:

“My prediction has always been the Brazil-France final. Brazil is gone and France is now the big favourite. Mbappe has a great World Cup. He has incredible physical and technical data. He may be the best player. natural talent and at the age of 23 the experience of winning the world championship.

France have had a fantastic World Cup campaign so far, short of a 1-0 defeat to Tunisia in their last group match. They beat Denmark and Australia to top their group before beating Poland in the round of 16 and England in the quarter-finals.

They were well led in attack by Kylian Mbappe, who leads the race for the Golden Boot with five goals. Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud scored four goals and also became France’s all-time leading scorer with 53 goals.

Didier Deschamps on his future as France coach after the 2022 World Cup

After beating England 2-1, Deschamps was asked about his future after the tournament was over. However, he avoided the issue and stressed that he is currently focused only on the semi-final against Morocco.

He said (via MARK):

“Every thing in its own time. It’s great to achieve the goals set by the president. He is happy and a lot of people I think are happy in France, but I like to enjoy again what we have achieved, which is to be in the top four teams in the world again. Now I am thinking about Wednesday’s game [against Morocco]Nothing more.”

If Deschamps does indeed leave the French team after the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Zinedine Zidane is the favorite to take his place. However, it is likely that the winner of the 2018 World Cup will remain with the team until at least the European Championship in 2024.

I am in favor of giving flowers to international managers: Didier Deschamps is one of them. Finalist of Euro-16, winner of the World Cup-18, winner of the League of Nations-21, and now a semi-finalist of the World Cup-22. In the dressing room With superstars, elite players and personalities, working in France is not easy.
