Thailand has launched “Amazing Thailand NFT”, an NFT experience for tourists visiting the country. Formally established by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), NFTs will encourage people to discover the country’s main cultural attractions in Southeast Asia. In order to get these NFTs, people must travel to these five locations, including the Ancient City in Samut Prakan and other locations. Each location has 3,999 NFTs, and participants must collect them by December 14th.

Thailand is launching an NFT collection that members can collect from all over the country.

The amazing NFT experience in Thailand is here!

Thailand is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world with over 35 million visitors annually. The country has wonderful beaches, great food, historic temples and a vibrant nightlife.

In fact, it is a destination on every traveler’s wish list! Tourism is a huge industry and this is another example of how web3 technology helps connect people and places in many different ways.

Now the country is using NFT to help people explore some of the most important cultural sites and gain a deeper understanding of the country’s history. There are five places to visit where you can collect amazing NFTs. Locations: Chinatown, Siam Square, Samut Prakan Ancient City, Wat Arun and Giant Swing.

Mr. Yutasak Supasorn, Governor of TAT, said: “This amazing Thailand NFT brings our NFT products – nature to be preserved, food to be explored and Thai culture to be discovered – to real trips and offers new experiences in line with the Visit Thailand 2022-2023: New amazing chapters. This initiative is also part of a drive to create a “new tourism ecosystem” for a more sustainable industry.”

How to collect NFTs

Participants must download the YAKS app on Android or iOS and scan the QR code available at each location to collect the NFT. In addition, there are also NFTs that can be unlocked at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Amazing Thailand NFT also has a game element. Since there are only 3999 NFTs available, there is a race to access every site and collect every one of them. Finally, those who collect three NFTs can unlock offers, discounts, and free experiences nationwide.

The new initiative is a huge turnaround in how Thailand is looking at web3 technology. Last year, Thailand issued a new law banning NFT trading.
