KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Nov. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — KADOKAWA GEMPAK STARZ (KGS) is releasing a brand new open source intellectual property (IP) for Web5 (Web3 + Web2) called GIRYPTO, starting with the launch of its multi-stage GIRYPTO NFT project today. With the release of this brand new IP, KGS adds value to the metaverse as it enters the world of blockchain technology.

What makes GIRYPTO so unique is that it is the first open source intellectual property in the comics industry. Subject to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license agreement, provided that attribution is given, anyone and everyone may freely copy and distribute the GIRYPTO materials in any medium or format, and process, transform and use them for any purpose, even commercially. KGS invites employees and partners to participate in this project as the company aims to develop GIRYPTO together as a Web5 (Web3 + Web2) Unlimited IP.

The GIRYPTO NFT project is the first of many GIRYPTO projects to be launched and the GIRYPTO Fables NFT series will be published on November 11, 2022 at 23:00 (GMT+08) Malaysian time. Those who have a whitelist are eligible to mint coins from 12:00 to 22:00 (GMT+8) Malaysian time on November 12th.
