Japanese creator Fumiya and Southeast Asia at the forefront of NFT adoption

The cryptocurrency industry has evolved recently with the advent of NFTs, DeFi, and the metaverse. In particular, NFTs have become widespread among creators, artists, and musicians looking to connect with their fans.

Game developers have also used NFTs to tokenize game assets and introduced a unique gaming concept called Play-to-Earn. P2E games have changed the way games are played as users can play games, earn tokens, and sell their characters on supported NFT marketplaces.

Southeast Asia at the forefront of NFT adoption

Southeast Asia is at the forefront of this trend, with an active population using NFTs and Play-to-Earn games. The impact of NFT in the Philippines is very large, and many citizens enjoy popular P2E games such as Axie Infinity and get a significant effect.

Besides the Philippines, other Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia and Thailand have also joined this trend with huge NFT markets. It is important for new projects to try to gain market share in this region. PROJECT XENO intends to do just that with its latest partnership with top Japanese creator Fumiya.

Fumiya has agreed to become a brand ambassador for Southeast Asia to introduce this market to the PROJECT XENO ecosystem. Fumiya is a social media creator living in the Philippines and has worked extensively as an actor, singer, TV presenter and YouTuber.

Its popularity spans various social media platforms, including 2.31 million subscribers on Youtube and over 6 million subscribers on Instagram, Tik Tok and other social media channels. Outside of gaming, Fumiya has previously served as ambassadors for Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka, and SNS.

He is expected to promote PROJECT XENO, a money-making game, to his large following and expand its reach in Southeast Asia. The Gamefi project allows players to compete in battle royales and tournaments to win rewards. Playable characters are released as NFTs that can be bred, upgraded, and sold on supported marketplaces.

Speaking about development, Fumiya expressed his satisfaction with joining the PROJECT XENO ecosystem. “My name is Fumiya and I have been appointed as an ambassador for PROJECT XENO. When I lived in the Philippines, I saw a lot of young and old playing games on their smartphones. I would be happy to help spread the new entertainment among the Filipinos who love these games and the country as a whole is getting excited! looking forward to more developments from PROJECT XENO in the future!” he added.

Southeast Asia has a lot of potential in the NFT ecosystem and PROJECT XENO is properly researching this market. Further development can lead to an explosive growth in the number of players who want to earn money by playing games.

In addition to expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, PROJECT XENO announced plans to explore new frontier markets. These include cooperation and the appointment of ambassadors to the United States, India, South Korea and the Middle East. PROJECT XENO recently collaborated with popular Japanese YouTuber Hikaru to launch the NFT Collection.
